ASQ Consultancy was founded in 1973 by Azhar Shaheen Qazi. The same engineering, procurement, and quality-management discipline that built our project-delivery practice across Pakistan, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia is what we now bring to medical-equipment refurbishment, installation, and after-sales support.
Our story
ASQ Consultancy was founded in 1973 by Azhar Shaheen Qazi, an engineer with over 40 years of experience in EPC project management and quality across Pakistan, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The firm grew up as a project-delivery and quality-management practice serving major engineering and procurement programmes in the region.
Over the decades we developed deep capability in the disciplines that make capital equipment actually work after delivery: rigorous procurement, multi-point inspection, calibration to specification, electrical safety verification, and documented quality assurance. Those are not new ideas in medical-equipment refurbishment — but they are inconsistently applied. We brought our existing EPC discipline to the medical category and built a programme around it.
Today, ASQ Consultancy serves hospitals across Pakistan — from tertiary-care centres in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad to district hospitals in southern Punjab and KP — alongside active export channels through the GCC, South Asia, and East Africa. We handle endoscopy towers, surgical microscopes, imaging systems, anaesthesia machines, patient monitors, OR furniture, and orthopaedic instruments. Every unit ships with the same documentation chain we've used on EPC projects for half a century: incoming inspection, parts replacement record, calibration certificate, electrical safety result, signed final QA.

Refurbished doesn't mean second-rate.
A properly refurbished surgical tower, calibrated to OEM specifications and serviced by qualified biomedical engineers, performs identically to a new one — for a fraction of the price. We do the work to make that true.
