Azhar Shaheen Qazi
Azhar Shaheen Qazi is the founder of ASQ Consultancy. Since 1973 he has led engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project-delivery and quality-management programmes across Pakistan, the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia — more than 50 years of that discipline. A Government College of Technology (GCT) Multan alumnus based in Lahore, he applies the same incoming-inspection, calibration, and signed-QA methods to medical-equipment procurement, refurbishment, installation, and after-sales support.
His work at ASQ spans procurement, refurbishment quality assurance, installation oversight, and after-sales service contracts. The firm was founded to bring the technical rigour of EPC project management — incoming inspection, calibration discipline, documentation chains, and signed quality assurance — into the medical equipment refurbishment category, where those disciplines are inconsistently applied.
Functional team structure
ASQ operates as a small specialist team rather than a large sales force. The functions below are staffed by full-time team members and supported by a network of specialist partners (calibration labs, manufacturer-trained service engineers, and freight forwarders).
Procurement & Sourcing
Identifies, vets, and acquires equipment from US/UK/EU asset disposition channels and regional suppliers. Manages the inbound supply chain.
Refurbishment & Biomedical Engineering
Performs incoming inspection, repair, calibration, and final QA. The technical core of every shipment.
Installation & Field Service
On-site installation, commissioning, training delivery, and corrective maintenance. Travels to client facilities across Pakistan and partner markets.
Client Relations & Project Management
Single point of contact for hospital procurement teams. Manages quotes, paperwork, logistics, and project timelines from inquiry through after-sales.
