Supplying hospital furniture & patient care into Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is ASQ's largest GCC export market by volume. With Vision 2030 driving healthcare expansion, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and the Eastern Province see steady demand for both new and refurbished surgical, imaging, and critical-care equipment. We work alongside SFDA-registered importers to deliver into MoH and private hospital projects.

Institutions named above describe the procurement landscape we supply into. They are not a client list, and we don’t reference individual customers without their agreement.

For hospital furniture & patient care specifically: we work with Saudi Arabia's licensed importer partners to deliver hospital furniture & patient care equipment from our refurbishment programme into hospitals across the country. Every unit ships with refurbishment certificate, calibration values measured against OEM specification, and IEC 60601-1 electrical safety test results β€” supporting customs clearance and post-market surveillance under Saudi Arabia's regulatory framework.

Brands we supply for hospital furniture & patient care: Synthes, Stryker, GE Healthcare, Standard Surgical, Steris, Maquet, Hill-Rom, Biodex, Metro, Waterloo Healthcare. Send your model and timeline through the inquiry form; we coordinate with our Saudi Arabia importer partner and respond within 24 hours.

Logistics & regulatory

Medical devices enter Saudi Arabia through a local Authorised Representative holding a valid SFDA AR licence, who files the Medical Device Marketing Authorisation (MDMA) via the SFDA's GHAD system β€” a foreign manufacturer cannot file directly. Refurbished equipment carries a specific additional requirement that catches most suppliers out: under SFDA MDS-REQ-005, plain used devices may not be imported for sale at all, and a refurbished device needs its own post-refurbishment MDMA in addition to the original. ASQ supplies upstream of that registration step and structures documentation so the AR's filing is straightforward rather than a rework exercise.
