GE OEC 9900 Elite Mobile C-Arm
C-Arms
The most-deployed mobile C-arm in operating theatres globally. OEC 9900 Elite serves orthopaedics, vascular, pain management, and general surgery fluoroscopy needs with reliable image quality and a service ecosystem unmatched in its category. Refurbished with tube and image-intensifier verification, full kVp/mA testing, and motion-system service.
In short
The GE OEC 9900 Elite is the mobile C-arm most surgical teams have trained on, and the most heavily traded refurbished C-arm in the world. That trading volume is the point: parts, engineers, and documented service history are all readily available, which is what makes a refurbished 9900 a low-risk purchase rather than a gamble. ASQ supplies them refurbished with calibration and IEC 60601-1 testing documented per unit.

What a GE Healthcare refurbished unit actually costs
Three things move the number: tube condition and remaining life, whether the unit is a 9900 or the older 9800 chassis, and the software and vascular or cardiac packages enabled on it. Image intensifier size matters too — a 9-inch and a 12-inch unit serve different theatres and price differently. A cheap C-arm with a tired tube is not a cheap C-arm; ask for tube usage data before comparing quotations, and treat any vendor who will not supply it as having answered the question.
Who specifies this
Typical clinical setting
Orthopaedic, trauma, spine, vascular, and pain-management theatres. It is the default intraoperative imaging choice for hospitals building or expanding an orthopaedic service, and a common fleet standard because staff move between units without retraining.

Before you buy
Questions buyers ask about the GE OEC 9900 Elite Mobile C-Arm
OEC 9800 or OEC 9900 — which should we buy refurbished?
The 9900 is the newer chassis with better image processing, a more current interface, and a longer forward service life. The 9800 is older, cheaper, and still very serviceable — parts remain available and many theatres run them happily. If the C-arm is going into a high-volume orthopaedic list you will use for the next decade, buy the 9900. If it is a second unit, a lower-volume theatre, or a budget-constrained first C-arm, a well-refurbished 9800 is honest value. We supply both.
How much life is left in the X-ray tube?
This is the question that decides whether a refurbished C-arm is a bargain or a liability, and it should be answered in writing before you buy. We supply tube usage data with the unit. A tube nearing end of life can represent a substantial share of the purchase price to replace, so it belongs in the comparison rather than as a surprise in year two.
Do you supply the C-arm with a compatible imaging table?
Yes — a C-arm without a radiolucent table that clears its arc is only half an installation, and this is a common and expensive oversight. We carry surgical C-arm imaging tables and will check the geometry against your theatre and your existing table before quoting rather than after delivery.
What condition is the GE OEC 9900 Elite Mobile C-Arm supplied in?
Refurbished through ASQ's documented 8-step programme. Wear items are replaced regardless of measured condition, the unit is calibrated against GE Healthcare's published specification, and IEC 60601-1 electrical safety testing is documented per unit. You receive the incoming inspection report, parts replacement record, calibration certificate with measured values, and a signed QA sign-off with the equipment.
