A suture training kit for practising surgical closure before the clinical skills lab. Stainless steel instruments — forceps, scissors, needle holder and scalpel handle — pair with a silicone practice pad moulded with straight, curved, branching and angled pre-cut wounds, so interrupted, continuous, mattress and subcuticular patterns can all be worked through on realistic tissue resistance. Suture thread is genuine Ethicon black braided silk. Scalpel blades are KRAPE carbon steel, CE marked and gamma-ray sterilised on their own packaging. Everything packs into a zippered case with elastic instrument loops. Note that the suture reel is supplied non-sterile and the kit is for training use only, not for wound closure on a patient.
